Trader Score & Rank
Battle Trade has two parallel progression systems and they measure different things. Trader Score is your competitive ladder rank — it can go up or down like an esports ELO. Rank measures engagement — it only goes up.
Trader Score (0–850 ladder scale)
A composite skill rating computed from your last 30 days of completed battles. Six pillars, weighted:
Win rate 25% Risk-adjusted return 25% Consistency 20% Average ROI 15% Max drawdown control 10% Battle count 5%
Internally normalized 0–100, displayed on a 300–850 scale so the ladder feels familiar. Decays toward 0 if you stop playing. Visible on your profile and the global leaderboard.
What changes it
- Up: winning, finishing top-3, consistent positive returns, low drawdown.
- Down: losing badly, large drawdowns, long inactive periods (decay), wash trading patterns.
Min 10 battles to qualify for the global leaderboard.
Elo Rating (0–2000+)
Updated every battle. Standard chess Elo, K=24, default 1200. Each battle compares your rank position to the average of opponents’ ratings. Wins against high-Elo players move it more.
Rank & XP
Rank only goes up. Earn XP every battle and you climb levels. Levels group into tiers:

How to earn XP

XP-to-next-level uses a 100 × level^1.5 curve. Click your LV chip in the dashboard top bar for a live ladder with current XP, % to next level, and unlock previews.
Streaks
Two separate counters: daily login streak and win streak.
- Daily login:sign in any day in the platform’s timezone window; missing a day breaks it. 3-day streak unlocks a free credit drop.
- Win streak: consecutive battles where you finish 1st. Resets on a non-win. Adds XP bonus at 3+.
- Best streak ever is recorded forever — it never decays even if your current streak resets.
Daily Challenges
Server-side challenges that refresh daily. Common types: play X battles, win X in a row, hit a target return %, trade across X different assets, place X trades. Completing them pays out credits and adds to your challenge streak.
Leaderboards
- Global Trader Score — top 100 by Trader Score, min 10 battles. /leaderboard.
- Lobby leaderboard — live ranking inside any lobby, sorted by return %.
- Rank leaderboard — top by XP / rank level. Engagement signal, not skill.
