Getting Started
Battle Trade is a trading competition with a clear progression: learn → compete → prove → earn. You start in free paper mode with $10,000 in fake money, trade real-time crypto prices against other players and bots, and the highest portfolio at the end wins. No real money at risk, no signup needed for your first round. When you’re ready, the same game runs as a real-stakes peer-pot battle: stake a pot, both trade real money, higher % return takes the pot. Paper is the ramp; the real-money path is where you earn.
1. Find a battle
Hit PLAY NOWon the landing page or the dashboard. We auto-spin a 90-second practice round so you’re trading inside 60 seconds. Want to play with humans? Browse live lobbies on the dashboard.
2. Open a position
- Pick an asset from the dropdown — BTC, ETH, SOL, and 60+ other crypto markets.
- Set leverage. Start at 2x or 3x. Higher leverage multiplies BOTH gains and losses. The platform caps at 50x for casual play.
- Set position size. The 1–5 keyboard shortcuts set 10/25/50/75/100% of your free balance.
- Hit LONG if you think price goes up, SHORT if you think price goes down. Keyboard:
L= Long,S= Short.
3. Manage P&L
Your unrealized P&L updates every tick. The position card shows entry price, current price, leverage, and live profit. Close a position with the X button or hit X to close all positions at once.
If your account drops below the maintenance margin, the position auto-liquidates and you forfeit the position’s collateral. This is the same as real perps — leverage is the knob that controls how fast that happens.
4. Win the round
At round end, players are ranked by total portfolio value. 1st place gets a win recorded against your profile (boosts win-rate, streak, Trader Score, and rank XP). Top-3 finishers earn bonus XP.
What happens after
- +50 XP for finishing, +150 for 1st, +75 for top-3.
- +250 credits per battle. +250 bonus on a win.
- Your Trader Score (a 0–850 ladder rank) recalculates from the last 30 days of battles. Detail at Trader Score & Rank.
- Streaks update — keep a daily login or win streak alive for compounding rewards.
